Week 5 has come to an end! Time sure does fly in room 410. We had a good week. The highlight of the week was a program about bullying. If you haven’t heard about it, please ask your student.
Edmodo
We did some work on edmodo today during Tier 2 time. If you have internet access from home, have your student show you what it is. It is a pretty neat tool for us to use in the classroom. We will be utilizing it more and more throughout the school year.
Science and Social Studies
We will be taking our first Social Studies test next Tuesday. This will be an open-book test, but your student should still bring home their book to study. We will then move to Science for a chapter, then back to Social Studies. In order for us to cover what we need, we alternate our schedule. It usually works out pretty well.
Book Fair
Thanks to those of you who donated books to the classroom. That along with PTO’s donation allowed us to have 11 new books for our classroom library. Awesome!!!
Midterm
Midterm is just around the corner. This will be the first official progress report for the school year. Please check Harmony for updates if you are curious about your student’s grades.
